This double-side UV-C + ozone combination sterilizer provides comprehensive surface disinfection for three-dimensional food packaging including trays, bowls, cups, clamshells, and pouches. The system delivers simultaneous top and bottom irradiation with optional ozone penetration for complete microbial elimination.

Q1: Does ozone affect the taste of fatty foods like cheese or meat?
A1: Low-level ozone (≤0.5 ppm) for short exposure does not cause off-taste. For high-fat products, we recommend turning off the ozone function and using only UV-C. Our unit allows independent ozone on/off control.
Q2: How do you prevent food debris from contaminating the lower lamps?
A2: Lower lamps are protected by a sloped quartz glass shield with compressed air purge. Daily end-of-shift wiping is sufficient. For wet/sticky products, a self-cleaning belt brush can be customized.
Q3: Can this machine handle aluminum trays?
A3: Aluminum is non-transparent. UV-C only sterilizes the exposed top surface. For full inner surface disinfection, we recommend using the ozone function alone or a combination with a spray system. Contact our engineering team for feasibility testing.
Q4: What is the minimum product height that can be processed?
A4: As low as 5mm (e.g., shallow trays). The conveyor belt gap can be adjusted down to zero. Standard range is 10-250mm; we can extend to 350mm upon customization.
